Look what we found on our walk today. Lilacs remind me of my Grandma Rushton. She had the biggest bush, it was like 20 feet tall and 20 feet wide. Well my measurements could be off a little, I was a little girl. Grandma would take lots of family pictures in front of that lilac bush. Lilacs also remind me of Mothers day and Sunday church where the children sing to their mothers. I really need to plant a bush in my yard somewhere so it will remind me of my Grandmother and my children's songs.

After I got done blogging about these beautiful flowers this is what I walked in on. Oh well, I guess we have to go get more.

Favorite flower

This is my favorite flower but the dang deer make it really hard to enjoy them in my own yard..

Babies are waiting...

Is it Halloween? My latest project was to make two baby quilts for my Mom to give out at work. They were going to be the cutest rag quilts ever. I got the first quilt altogether, put it in the wash and look SPIDER WEBS. The seams started to come apart, and frayed far past the stitching. I rushed off to the store for some expert advice. Thanks to them and my ingenuity... are the most awesome rag quilts I have made.
